1. Service Overview

TripRescue is a marketplace that enables users to resell non-refundable hotel reservations. We connect sellers with buyers, facilitate the ownership transfer through property management systems like Mews, and ensure all transactions are secure.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use TripRescue. By using our platform, you confirm that you meet this requirement and are capable of entering into legally binding contracts.

3. Booking Transfers

All reservation transfers are subject to validation via booking confirmation numbers and email-based two-factor authentication. We cannot guarantee the success of every resale, as some properties may impose restrictions or decline the transfer.

4. Payment Terms

All payments are processed through Stripe. TripRescue takes a service fee from successful transactions. Sellers are responsible for ensuring the validity of the reservation they list. Buyers are responsible for reviewing details before purchase.

5. No Guarantees

TripRescue does not own or operate the hotels listed. We are not responsible for the quality of the stay, hotel amenities, or disputes between guests and hotel management.

6. Limitation of Liability

We are not liable for losses or damages arising from the use of our platform, including failed transfers or booking errors. Our maximum liability is limited to the service fee paid for the transaction.

7. Cancellations & Refunds

All bookings sold or purchased on TripRescue are final. Sellers cannot cancel a resale once it is processed. Buyers are not eligible for refunds unless explicitly approved under rare exceptions.

8. Platform Use

Users agree not to misuse the platform by listing fake reservations, engaging in fraudulent activity, or bypassing platform fees. We reserve the right to suspend or ban accounts violating our policies.
